We develop, together with mining companies, chemical formulations that are specific to individual operations. We concentrate on providing solutions to metallurgical problems by developing formulations of frothers, mineral collectors and depressants.

The Chem Brokers operates a fleet of forty ISO tank containers alongside world renowned industry leaders. We also deliver our products in flexi-tanks or, for non-bulk users, in 1000 l IBC containers or in standard drums of 200 l. Powder products are supplied in either 25 kg sacks.

Our company and warehouse is based in Louisiana, and we have subsidiary and associate company partner situated in Southern Africa, Mexico and Chile, as well as representative partners in the Philippines and Australia.

Frothers

Products
The DTFROTH™ range of alcohol and glycol frothers includes formulations and blends which give application specific products. These are often developed together with our customers. To extend this range, The Chem Brokers o is the exclusive distributor of Dowfroth products for Dow Chemical company in the EMEA area.

Depressants

Products
The DTMIN depressant range is used in the depression of gangue minerals and the control of silicates in the flotation process and are critical to good metallurgical performance. DTMIN depressants are extensively used in the depression of Pyrite and Pyrrhotite as well as for the control of silica and talc minerals.

Flocculants

Products
In most mineral processes where there is a need for sedimentation, filtration or centrifugation then a flocculant or coagulant is often desired. The DTFLOC range offers a broad spectrum of products ensuring maximum performance and cost efficiency in these applications.

Collectors

Products
The Chem Brokers has a wide range of collectors for all types of flotation. Our expertise in custom formulation has allowed significant improvements in metallurgy to be made by many of our customers when DTCOL formulations are used.

Modifiers

Products
A modifier acts on the mineral surface to either activate the surface and thereby promote flotation or to deactivate the surface to make the mineral non-flotable. The Chem Brokers supplies modifiers made from the purest raw materials which give a superior economic advantage.
